I love crafting and decorating, but I really go all out for the holidays with Christmas crafts. There have been years where all my gifts were handmade – and plenty where they weren’t. If you’re looking for easy gift ideas that are semi-handmade, I think printables are a fun way to customize.

I’ve created several different Christmas gift ideas using free printables. Each one is easy to make in about 15 minutes.

They’re also great for gifts on a budget. You probably have quite a few people on your list and are looking for thoughtful, inexpensive gift ideas.

Christmas gift ideas

Christmas gift tags

Learn how to make your own kraft paper gift tags with my favorite scrapbook paper and a printable template. It includes 8 different festive holiday greetings. These tags are perfect for any gift!

Mini cookie or candy tin

Choose from 4 printable round label designs in bright red, lime green, and turquoise. They’re perfect for adding to a store-bought tin of cookies or candy. And if you’re making treats from scratch, you can add these to any food-safe container.

Paint can gift basket

There’s something about these mini paint cans that’s just adorable. Each one holds about a double handful of goodies, so they’re perfect for small gifts. I designed a set of 8 rectangular labels and of course, you can use these on any size or shape container.

Christmas pickle ornament

If you’ve never heard of the Christmas pickle, it’s a fun and silly holiday tradition to do with your kids. I put together the story on a printable card. Attach a pickle ornament for an easy and unexpected gift.

DIY coffee mug

If you’re a coffee and tea drinker, you can never have too many cups! Choose from 3 printable coffee insert designs to make a DIY coffee mug.

Planner kit

Print off a bunch of planner stickers and inserts for your favorite planner love. Help them set up a new planner for the year with printable date stickers, printable month headings, and a year of holiday stickers.

Recipe Binder

This recipe binder is a printable that gets a lot of use at my house. You can gift it in 2 different ways – either by filling it with recipes or by including lots of printable pages for your loved one to fill in.

Printable bookplates

If you’re giving a book to a child or adult, print and add one of these bookplate labels for the inside. You could also just print off a big stack of labels so your gift recipient can tag everything in their personal library.

Bird journal

A mini journal makes a unique stocking stuffer. Print and assemble this watercolor bird journal, then add some fun pens and stickers to go with it.

12 Days of Christmas

Make your own mini countdown calendar to give the gift of a dozen little surprises leading up to Christmas (or starting on Christmas). This printable advent calendar includes a mini card for each day.
