Although this planner does say July 4th in several places, it could be used for any cookout or summer party!

July 4th planner inserts
There are 9 pages in this July 4th planner. See all the pages included below.
Planner cover
The first page of all of my planners is a themed cover. This one reads July 4th Planner and has red, white, and blue bunting illustrations. Use it for the first page if you’re printing all of these to make a mini planner. It’s also great as a divider if you’re printing all my planners to create a year-long holiday binder.

Monthly calendar
The monthly calendar is undated so you can print a new copy annually. Write the month at the top and fill in the date boxes. Independence Day is at the beginning of July, so you’ll probably want to print a calendar page for June and July to plan further ahead!
If you don’t want to hand-write the numbers, grab my printable watercolor month name stickers and date stickers.

July 4th cookout
This page has everything you need to plan a July 4th cookout. It has space at the top to plan the date, time, venue, and party budget. Then there are boxes for the menu that includes:
- grill
- sides
- beverages
- desserts
At the bottom is a place to plan your cooking schedule. This is so handy for things you need to make in advance and refrigerate, to prep your grill items, and to make sure all the food is ready at the same time.

July 4th shopping
Shop for your July 4th party and keep track of all your lists in one place. Organize your party budget, sorted by items. Keep track of pick-up orders and make separate checklists for food, non-food items (like paper towels), and last-minute essentials you don’t want to forget (like ice).

July 4th activities
Plan all the activities for your party with boxes and lines. The sections include:
- traditions
- crafts
- games
- events (Are you watching a parade before your cookout?)
There’s also a box for notes. Use this for reminders, like finding a playlist for the kids to play musical chairs, or anything that doesn’t fit in another category.

Cookout guest list
This simple guest list page does a lot of work, so you don’t have to scroll through text messages to remember who has RSVPed and who hasn’t yet. Make a list with names, their responses, and a section for potluck items if you’re asking guests to bring things.

July 4th checklist
Hosting a July 4th party can include a surprising number of steps. Use this page to plan everything and check it off when done.
The sections are divided into 4 groups of 10 with space to write your own headings. You might sort your list into errands, indoor tasks, and outdoor tasks. Or maybe you want to plan a month in advance, 2 weeks in advance, the day before, and the day of the party.

July 4th cocktails cheat sheet
If there will be adult beverages at your party, having a quick little reference for some special drinks is fun. This page has space to write the ingredients and brief instructions for up to 4 cocktails you want to serve.

Blank planner insert
There are always more things people need to organize than I can design printable planner inserts for. All my holiday planners include a blank page with a heading marker and lines to keep track of whatever else you need. Use it to expand a list from another page, make a playlist, or journal about your celebration.
