Here on One Mama’s Daily Drama, you’ll find several options for cards to gift on Father’s Day and Mother’s Day. A few years ago I designed a Mother’s Day coloring card and this year I decided it was high time to make a version for Dad.
This card has a cute front cover design with a cute cartoony monster. It’s easy to print one-sided, then write whatever you like on the inside. Just print, cut, fold, and decorate!
There are 2 versions of the design. One is black and white so your child can color. The other is already colored, so it’s print-ready.
I recommend printing this design on cardstock or watercolor paper – anything sturdy that’s good for coloring. Kids can color the little monster and the lettering with crayons, markers, colored pencils, or whatever art supplies they like.
Then kids can write or draw more pictures inside the card. Little kids can doodle and practice writing their names, while older kids can include a simple handwritten message.
Need some ideas for what to write inside the card? When in doubt, you can say it all with “I love you!”
Printable Father’s Day card designs
The front design of this Father’s Day coloring card says “Happy Father’s Day” in large blocky letters that are easy to color. Then in smaller text, it says “from your little monster!”
There’s also an illustration of a cute and friendly little monster with big eyes and striped horns.
The colored version is turquoise blue, red, and orange.
Both versions can be printed on regular 8.5×11-inch paper or cardstock. There are guidelines to cut out the card and fold it in half. The finished card is 4.25×6 inches, so it will fit in an envelope if you wish.
