I love the fall season in general and Halloween specifically. There’s something magically fun about chilly weather and pumpkins, dressing up in costumes, and of course – candy.

My fall bucket list usually includes decorating the house, watching several movies, and eating all the yummy seasonal food I can.

I’m trying to be better about sending cards for holidays and special events, though I think my family would say I still need to work on it. If you love sending Christmas cards, why not start the fun a few months early and send out some Halloween greeting cards?

Halloween cards

I came up with several Halloween puns and designs but narrowed it down to four that I thought were really cute. I’m a sucker for a good pun, so these are a bit silly.

Each of the designs will fit on a 4×6 card, whether you like the flat cards or the folded ones. The images are PDFs, so you can scale them a bit bigger or smaller to fit other sizes too.

Printing tips

To print flat cards:

  • Open the PDF, choose your paper size, and hit print.
  • I print all my designs on the “best” setting on my printer.
  • You can print on regular card stock and trim the cards, but it’s even easier if you print directly onto 4×6 card stock.

To print on folded cards:

  • Open the PDF, choose your paper size, and adjust your printer setting to print the design on the front of the card.
  • On my printer, I select layout and choose 2 pages per sheet with the direction going right to left.
  • You can print on card stock and trim or get greeting card paper like this Avery half-fold greeting card stock or Avery quarter-fold greeting card stock.

“Tis the season to be spooky”

You can print them on your home printer or take them to your favorite copy shop. Print as many as you like for personal use (eg. Don’t send them to your 7,000 corporate clients or resell them.)
