When my kids were little, they both loved playing Memory. It’s a simple game that you can play over and over, and each time it’s a bit different.

Shuffle up a set of cards and spread them out face down, then flip them over one at a time to find a matching pair.

This printable memory game has a cute Halloween theme that little kids will adore. There are 9 different images to match up, including ghosts, bats, and a cute black cat.

Nine different cards including a candy bucket, haunted house, skeleton, headstone, bat, spider, black cat, ghost, and pumkpin.

How to play Halloween memory

Print the card set.

Start by printing these Halloween memory cards on card stock. There are 2 pages and you’ll need to print each one twice.

First, print 2 copies of the side with the patterned background (page 1). Then flip them over and print the side with the characters on the other side (page 2).

Cut along the dotted lines. You could laminate the cards if you like, but I didn’t.

Set up the game.

To play Halloween memory, shuffle the cards and spread them out face down. Line them up in rows. There are 18 cards total, so a grid of 3 by 6 works well.

Search for pairs.

The goal of memory is to find matching pairs. You can play with one or more kids!

On your turn, flip over one card and lay it facing up. Now flip over another card that you think might match. If they match, you can keep them. If they don’t match, flip them both back over.

Try to remember where all the cards are so that as the game goes on, you can find them again. Whoever has the most pairs at the end wins!
