Printable Project Planner for DIY and Crafts

The old saying goes, “measure twice and cut once.” Organize your next project with this printable project planner. It’s a handy one-page list to track your materials, steps, and deadline.

This printable coordinates with all of my other planner inserts, including my yearly printable planner.

What kind of projects do you have on your agenda? Each new season is a great time to go through your house and write down all the things that need to be done. That might include home repairs, seasonal gardening, or fun and crafty decor projects.

How to plan your projects

This worksheet is one page, so you can see the whole thing at a glance. It has space to keep up with all the important details of your project, so you can check steps off or make notes for next time.

Goal: Write out what your finished project will be like.

Deadline: This might be a hard deadline or one that you created for yourself. Even if you don’t have to stick to a deadline, setting one will help you space out your to-do list so that you can tackle each step without rushing.

Materials: This is whatever you need to complete the project – physical supplies, a list of book/web resources, etc.

To do: Write out every step of the project.

Notes: Anything goes! Write down things you might want to remember if you do this project again. Take measurements. List color combinations.

You’re welcome! I feel like I always have a list of projects to do, but rarely get many done because I don’t take the time to plan them out.
