I might be exaggerating a bit, but I think tangrams are one of the best kids’ activities around!
Puzzles like these Easter tangrams look simple to do: You cut out the pieces and arrange them to look like the pictures on the cards.
But really, they’re challenging your kids to think creatively and use abstract thinking skills. Tangrams also help with hand-eye coordination, color and shape recognition, and problem-solving. And while your kids aren’t doing math in a traditional way, this activity prepares them for it when they’re older.
I’ve designed a lot of printable tangrams over the years and readers love them, so I think these Easter tangrams will be a hit too.
Or make your own tangrams in any theme using this printable tangrams template!
Easter tangrams challenge
This download includes a page that has 4 complete tangrams sets (the 7-piece shape puzzle). There are 2 additional pages that have 4 challenge cards each (so 8 total).
Print the tangrams and cut them out, then cut the challenge cards apart.

Challenge your kids to solve the card pictures. These include a bunny, duck, carrot, egg, lily, Easter basket, Easter bonnet, and candy.
You don’t need any other supplies after you’ve printed and cut these out, so you can store them in an envelope and carry them with you anywhere. They make a good busy activity when your child needs to be sitting and quiet.

I no longer teach as I am retired. Therefore, I can not use the login info (or account) I created years ago. That means I cannot access the free printables. How can I change my account so I may still download the free printables you offer? I thank you in advance for your help with this situation.
