Teacher Appreciation Week is officially the first full week of May. Your school may celebrate another time of year, and of course, there’s never a bad time to let your child’s teacher know that you appreciate all the work they do.
But if you’re celebrating at the beginning of May, it’s conveniently close to Star Wars Day on May the 4th. Combine the two and send a Star Wars-themed card. This one is cute on its own and there’s plenty of space to include a gift card.

When I was designing this card, I immediately thought of this quote from Master Yoda:
Truly wonderful the mind of a child is.
He says it during Attack of the Clones when he’s teaching the younglings and they help Obi-Wan solve the mystery of a planet missing from the database.
And he’s right – kids think so creatively!
It’s so important for kids to have a good teacher who nurtures that, so this card text says: Truly wonderful the mind of a child is. Thank you for helping our youngling grow this year!
The lettering is the focus, but there are gold and gray accents and plenty of stars on the card and envelope.

How to use this Star Wars card
The printable below includes 2 pages – the card and the envelope.
Start by printing both on card stock. Then cut out each one around the outside black line.
Both pieces have tiny gray lines to mark where to fold. On the card, it folds into a Z. For the envelope, each of the corners folds inward into triangles that meet in the center.

The envelope has a box to write the teacher’s name. And there’s space at the bottom of the card to sign it. The folded card fits into the envelope and there’s space to slide a gift card or something small and flat in with it.
Seal the envelope with a sticker or washi tape. I used one of these Star Wars Mandalorian stickers.

Note: This Star Wars teacher appreciation card does need to be hand-delivered. It’s not the right size to go through USPS mail.
