Fall break means the kids are probably home for a whole week looking for fun things to do. I’ve always kept a stack of coloring pages and activity sheets handy, so we always have a few no-prep activities on days when the weather isn’t great for playing outside.

Thanksgiving word search

This word search includes 2 dozen festive words on a large 15-by-15 grid. All of the words are either horizontal or vertical (no diagonal or backward).

We like to use crayons or markers to color in the boxes when finding words. I used Sharpie S-Note markers in the photos here. I like that the colors are vibrant and they don’t smell. Of course, you can use whatever supplies you have at home and color or circle the words.
