Snack mix tips and substitutions
The great thing about an easy toss-and-go snack mix is that you can easily add, remove, or substitute ingredients. Here are a few ideas:
- Things to ADD
- A pastel or fruit-flavored cereal, such as Strawberry Cheerios
- Nuts (if no allergies)
- Yogurt-covered raisins
- Any dried fruit
- Things to SWAP
- Use plain pretzels instead of yogurt pretzels.
- Skip the Easter M&Ms and use any variety of chocolate chips.
- To make this gluten-free, you’ll need to use Annie’s gluten-free bunnies and any gluten-free pretzels.
