Entertain your family on a long road trip with this fun printable I Spy car game! This activity combines 2 popular car games: I Spy and the Alphabet Game.

My kids love printable road trip games, so I’ve put together several to keep them entertained on long car rides.

How do you play I Spy

To play the classic game:

Each player takes a turn and says I spy with my little eye, something that… and then picks a letter, a color, or some other clue. Everyone else asks yes or no questions and tries to guess what the item is.

How do you play the Alphabet Game

To play the classic game:

Players must look for all the letters of the alphabet on signs in order. In some variations, players name an object that begins with the letter.

How to play this car game

For this I spy car game printable, players search for an item beginning with each letter of the alphabet, then write it down. You can go in alphabet order for an extra challenge.

I designed this to be a game for all ages, though some reading and spelling are necessary. Your child can play it on their own, or get your whole family searching and playing together.

You could even print off multiple copies of the game and give one to each person. Have them keep their list secret, then when you arrive at the destination, compare your answers.
