Springtime often means digging in the backyard to plant flowers or veggies in the garden. There are lots of ways to get kids of all ages involved.
You can’t beat digging into the dirt, but there are lots of ways to learn about gardening that aren’t quite as messy. This garden word search is an easy way to introduce kids to some of the garden vocabulary words that you’ll probably be using.
This printable mostly includes names of garden tools and parts of plants.

There’s just one printable word search in this download. It includes a list of 12 shorter words for younger kids to search for (like gloves and seed). Then there are 6 bonus words for big kids and anyone who wants a bit more of a challenge (like fertilizer).
Just in case, there’s also an answer key included that shows where all the words can be found.
