We love LEGO building sets at my house. The kids build just about every day and they have even found a way to use LEGO bricks for school projects and homework. Because the sets have so many small pieces they do not make very good travel toys, so I created this printable LEGO workbook.
My family doesn’t travel a lot, but we do make a six-hour drive to visit grandparents when we can. And when my husband and I are working at a craft show or we just have a busy day planned, the kids need something to keep them occupied.
This printable is intended for younger elementary kids. If you want some more challenging LEGO printables, check out my LEGO Activity Book and my LEGO Friends Animals Mazes.
What’s included?
There are four pages of activities, plus a cover and answer keys. The activity pages are all in black and white, so they are printer-friendly. The cover is pretty colorful, so if you’re not keen on using that much ink, set your printer to skip that page.
Lego workbook pages
- Minifigure coloring page
- maze (+ key)
- word search (+ key)
- word scramble (+ key)
Use crayons, markers, pencils, or any art supplies to decorate the minifigure coloring page. Make it look like yourself or your favorite character.
In the LEGO maze, help the minifigure find the brick.
The LEGO word search includes 15 words to find. In the LEGO word scramble sheet, there are 8 words to unscramble. Then use the letters to answer the riddle.

This prints on regular 8.5×11-inch paper, but you may be able to scale it smaller and print two pages per sheet to make a mini workbook.
Print all the pages at once or print a specific page by selecting a page range in your printer settings. Please note that this printable is for personal use only. You’re welcome to use it in your home, classroom, small club, or nonprofit group.

Hi, I’m a student teacher and I was wondering if any part of the workbook is free to download? Thank you!
Keri says
Hi Mary Alice! Most of my printables, including this one, are available on pay-what-you-can pricing. So you’ll type the amount you think the printable is worth (or what you can afford) into the box under “name a fair price.” If you type in zero, then you can download the printable without entering any payment info.
