Need a game to play on Easter that’s fun for all ages? Try this Easter Bingo!

It can be challenging to find a game that everyone from preschool through tweens can plan together. My kids and friends’ kids are in a wide age range, so I quickly had to learn how to find something fun that all of them could do together.

You’ll find a lot of games and kids’ activities on my blog that fit a wide age range.

I’ve found that the best tots-to-teen games require little or no reading, and are flexible enough that the kids can play in teams or pair if they prefer.

Bingo is great because, although there are rules, you can easily customize them to fit your party group. Play this at a family gathering, a picnic, or just with your family at home.

How to play bingo

To play bingo, each player needs a card. This download comes with 8 different ones, so it’s comfortable for 2 to 8 players. If you have more kids, either divide the kids into multiple rounds or print extra cards (knowing that duplicate cards will mean 2 winners per round).

1. Hand out cards and choose a caller.

Give each player one bingo card. Cut out and shuffle the draw cards and choose one person to be the caller. Put all the draw cards in a bowl, hat, etc. to shuffle.

Each player also needs a handful of markers to cover the pictures on their card. You can use beans, buttons, or flat marbles. I think for Easter bingo small candies, like Hershey’s Kisses or these chocolate carrots are cute.

2. Draw a card and announce it.

For each round, the caller will draw out a card and announce what it is. Players cover that picture on their bingo cards. Repeat for as many rounds as necessary until someone wins.

This Easter bingo game includes secular holiday and spring icons, like eggs, a bunny, a basket, a flower, and a butterfly.

3. How to win!

To win at bingo, you have to cover 5 boxes in a row. As soon as you have it, yell out bingo!

The center space is a freebie for everyone. You can make a row horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. (To make the game more challenging, you can change what counts as a bingo. For example, it has to be horizontal, or it only includes the 4 corners.)
