This printable coordinates with all of my other planner inserts, including my yearly printable planner.
I’ve made a few other packing lists in the past – my kids packing list and my tween/teen packing list. Both of those are great for handing to your child and giving them the opportunity to pack for themselves. Even if you need to check everything when they’re done, it will encourage a bit of independence.
This printable is simple and intended for adults, although it could also be used by older kids or teens.
You probably won’t need everything on my list unless, like me, you try to be prepared for every (unlikely) scenario when traveling. Feel free to mark things off, of course. There’s also space to add things I missed.
Printable travel packing list
This one-page printable list makes packing for your summer vacation or a road trip easy.
I tried to be thorough and include everything you might need for a trip. The thing is, a lot of the items you need depend on where you’re going.
Of course, there are always things you’ll need for a specific destination (like camping gear) or for your own personal choice (like a hairdryer if your destination doesn’t have one). And if you have kids, pets, allergies, or other circumstances, those will affect your packing list.
So I left a few lines in each category so you can write exactly what you need. Categories include clothes and accessories, toiletries, in the car, emergency, and miscellaneous.
Everything fits on a single page, but unless it’s a small overnight trip, I usually print a second copy of my list on the back. That way, I can check things off as I put them back into my suitcase before coming home. While that doesn’t guarantee you won’t have lost something, it definitely helps!
