Do you have a favorite spring activity? My family tries to spend more time outside once the weather starts warming up (as long as it’s not raining!). I also like to do more easy art activities, like coloring pages.

I created this spring color by number with seasonal flowers in mind. It’s a simple, screen-free activity to do outdoors if the weather is nice or indoors on a rainy day. All you need is a handful of crayons or colored pencils.

Each box is numbered to match the color key at the top of the page. The key has a picture and the color name for each number. Kids of all ages will have fun searching for the coordinating numbers in the grid.

Closeup of Crayola crayons: tickle me pink, dandelion, fern, mountain meadow, robin's egg blue, and purple mountains majesty.
Spring coloring page of a pink and yellow flower with a green stem and a blue background.

You can use any shades, but I think pastels are perfect for this time of year. Here are the Crayola crayons I used:

  • tickle me pink
  • dandelion (yellow)
  • fern (light green)
  • mountain meadow (dark green)
  • robin’s egg blue
  • purple mountains majesty
