Whether you’re traveling to visit family or staying home during the holidays from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day, a break from the routine of school and all that goes with it is nice.
Except, about five minutes into the break, the kids are going to say they’re bored.
My kids have always loved coloring pages, puzzles, and other activity pages. And I know my blog readers’ kids do too because the ones here are some of my most popular posts.
I decided I definitely needed to put together a Christmas coloring and activity book to keep everybody’s kids happy on those not-busy days.

Christmas activity book
This Christmas Coloring and Activity Book has 12 pages:
- Color by number
- Decorate a gingerbread man
- Christmas Parade I Spy
- Santa Mad-Libs
- Maze (with answer key)
- Color and cut ornaments
- Cut and fold paper fortune
- Tic-tac-toe
- Roll and draw a snowman
- “All About Me” end-of-year journal page
- Word scramble (with answer key)
- Word search (with answer key)

I wanted to make this affordable for families with multiple kids. Download it once and print it as many times as you want for personal use (home, daycare, school – just don’t hand out a thousand of them to everyone you know).
There’s a little something for everyone here: brain puzzles, games, drawing, and coloring…
I think this is best for elementary-aged kids. There’s some reading required, so preschoolers would probably like some help from an adult or older sibling. One of my favorite types of kids’ activities is one that gets them playing together nicely!

It includes 12 pages of activities, plus 3 pages of puzzle answer keys and an index in a PDF. Pages are 8.5×11-inches but can be scaled smaller if you like. All printables are for personal use only.
