If you need a few free printable coloring pages to entertain the kids on a Christmas road trip or a family party, these three are cute and fun.
I think I may have watched too many Rankin and Bass cartoons as a child. Whenever I think about the season changing from fall to winter, I imagine tiny fairies flying around and sprinkling fairy dust.
They whisper to the trees and flowers, putting them to sleep or waking them up, and encourage the wind to blow in snow flurries.
In these three coloring pages, I wanted to capture that Christmas magic.
I originally created these in 2015 but redesigned the printables in 2020.
Fairy coloring pages
I designed 3 pages in this set. The first 2 coloring pages are fairies – one is sitting under a Christmas tree and the other one is making snowflakes.
If you don’t want to print these coloring pages, they can also be opened on a table in any app that can read PDF files. I use Apple Books for coloring pages, but there are several for Android and iOS.
Fairy door printable
The third coloring page is a fairy door. Color with crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc., and cut it out. It could also be decorated with watercolor paints or by gluing other craft items like ribbon. (Or glitter!)
I just folded a piece of tape around to make it double-sided. Place it somewhere in your house and see if any fairies come in.
Maybe that’s how the Elf on the Shelf gets in? My kids were never interested in the Elf, but they thought having a tiny door where fairies might sneak into their bedrooms was fun.

There are 3 pages in PDF format. They’re designed to print on 8.5×11-inch computer paper, but could be printed any size. All printables are for personal use only.

Did you draw these yourself?!?!?! that is totally amazing! I love the idea of the fairies flitting around putting the flowers and trees to bed for the winter and creating a zillion snowflakes 🙂
Ha! Well I drew some of it. I started with public domain clipart for the snowflakes and flowers and traced the proportions from drawing tutorials. Then I re-drew the elements I wanted and added my own bits.

Cute coloring pages! I really like the fairy door, but I’d use it as an elf door for our Elf on the Shelf! I’ll definitely have to print these out and let my daughter color them. She loves coloring.

These are such a fairy good idea for the kids over the holidays. My nieces love colouring and fairies are one of their favourite things. I bet I could get them colouring a door for every room in the house!
