Moving is stressful. It can be hard to keep up with all the places where you need to change your address. You never realize how many places have your contact information until you need to update it.

Use this printable change of address checklist to make it a little easier.

Change of address checklist

Last time we moved, it was sort of last-minute and rushed. This time, I’m writing everything down and sharing it in a series called Drama-free moving. I hope I can save at least a few people from the chaos that is moving from one home to another.

I’m a list person. The first thing I did when we decided to move was to make a list of all the lists I needed to make.

So I started making a list of all the places that I would need to change our address. Some were obvious – like the electric company. Others, not so much.

After our last move, we had a panicked moment after placing our first Amazon order. Did we change that address before hitting the checkout button?

The junk mail will always find you. The important stuff, you’re going to have to make sure.

I included several important things in each category and also left blank spaces so you can write in what’s important to you.

Grab your printable and get ready. Fortunately, most of these can be done online now.
