S’mores are the perfect fall treat. Gather the whole family around a fire pit, roasting marshmallows on sticks and breathing in the crisp autumn air. It’s almost too perfect!
And probably, that perfection will only last a few minutes before one of the kids sets their marshmallow on fire and the other kid drops theirs in the dirt {and tries to eat it anyway}.
If you are looking for that lovely seasonal scene, but need something a bit easier, gather your family around the dining table for a batch of homemade s’mores rice krispies treats. You will not believe how perfect these taste. And they’re made with pretty simple ingredients that you might already have in the pantry if you bake often.
Did I mention the flavor? They taste exactly like real s’mores!
My husband was pretty skeptical about s’mores that didn’t have graham crackers in them. I was afraid that crackers would get soggy or stale, but decided to get creative with the flavors.

How to make s’mores rice krispies treats
