It doesn’t take much to fill up an Easter basket with sugar and chocolate. But if you want ideas for what to put in Easter baskets instead of candy, read on.
Maybe your child can’t have jelly beans and chocolate eggs. Or maybe you want to include a mix of candy and other fun treats. I’ve rounded up some of my family’s favorite budget-friendly candy alternatives. You don’t have to include a stuffed animal (most kids have a lot of those already) or spend a ton of money on this holiday.
These ideas are perfect for little kids, big kids, tween, teens, and even adults. Rather than providing shopping links to specific products, I’ve just included general suggestions. Most of these items are going to be cheapest when purchased in person at your local dollar store, Five Below, or similar retailers.
