The capybara is a rodent native to South America. They’re basically giant guinea pigs — the size of a big dog — and spend their time relaxing in pools or munching on grass.
Capybaras have been kind of popular lately. You might’ve seen videos of them swimming with oranges or being bothered by pelicans. Anyway, I think they’re fun so I drew a pair on my iPad.
After I made this coloring page, I printed it on watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor pencils. They work like regular colored pencils for coloring, but when you brush water over the finished art, it blurs the colors together nicely. For this page I only added water to the background grass and water.
