2016 Printable Planner

Start the year off right with a little bit of organizing. I made this 2016 printable planner to be pretty and functional. Peek inside and then get your pages.

There’s something about a new year and a new planner or calendar. All those fresh, blank pages are waiting to be filled in. Boy am I ready to fill them.

Of course, if you’re just stumbling across this post later in the year, there’s never a bad time to start a planner.

I’ve made a few in the past and this one, I think, is the best yet. (Although you can certainly go back and print the non-dated pages, like my contacts and passwords lists.)

2016 printable planner

I wanted this planner to be a little fancier than the ones I’ve made in the past. I actually purchased graphics and I think the watercolor designs are gorgeous. They add a pop of color without killing your home printer.

My 2016 planner is a total of 238 pages {or 119, printed two-sided}. That sounds like a lot, but that’s if you print every single page you need for the whole year. 366 days.

Yay, leap year!

Here, I have it available as a whole, big PDF. That way you can choose how you want to print. It’s all in order for the year. I’m printing mine at home, although so far I’ve only printed January. You are welcome to have it professionally printed anywhere you like – no copyright marks. (Fair warning, I tried to print it at Staples, and since it’s big and color, the price was not what I would be willing to pay, so keep an eye out for coupons.)

What’s in this big planner anyway?

The 2016 planner includes:

  • 1 cover
  • 12 monthly calendar pages
  • week-at-a-glace 2-page spread
One page is a meal plan & grocery list; the other is a task list and notes.
  • weekly 2-page spread
One page includes Monday through Wednesday; the other is Thursday through Sunday.

Get the 2016 printable planner

To download your printable planner, click HERE and then on the little arrow at the top of the page.

Note: The file is zipped so that it doesn’t take forever to download. Once it’s on your computer, you’ll need a program that unzips files. Most computers come with this standard. On my computer {an Asus PC with Windows 10}, I just right-click on the file and then left-click on Extract All… and then it’s done. Yours might be different.

You can print the whole thing at once or just print the pages you want as needed. My printer has a setting that I can check ‘print 2-sided’ and it automatically flips the pages for me, but there are tons of printers, so yours might be different.

I wonder how many planners have that extra day in them this year? I love planners, and I always start off using them then I neglect them. Perhaps if I were printing them a month at a time I would get better use out of them. I love that you made it so it didn’t take up all your ink.

That’s what I’m doing. I’ve printed all the months and I’m printing the weekly pages one month at a time. I think my planner would be too thick otherwise. I love being able to have everything in one place though, instead of spread out across a wall calendar, phone calendar, etc.

I released 2016 on January first, but I’m planning to do 2017 a little earlier – maybe early December. Since we’re not even halfway through the year, I’m still hoping to get feedback on what people loved or would like me to change for next year.

    Hi Kerry,

Finding this is like finding a gem! So glad I found this through Pinterest. As a pre-school teacher in a new setting I needed organisation-and quick and fast. This ticks all the right boxes, beautiful rich colours, artsy and organised. Really appreciate the line space for Mon-Sunday, I’m going to be using that as a refection of my school week. So happy the way it’s looking in my folder-my colleagues will be jealous! Haha

Feedback for the printing format though. It took ages to select the various pages and print what I needed. For the next one, could you possibly put the months all at once in the beginning. And to save from repeating the same pages could the ‘task list & notes’ and ‘week of’, ‘meal planner’ just be shown once. After all if you need more than one, you can just press how many copies you need on your printer options. Will save a lot of time and going through the pages! Excuse my ocd, fantastic otherwise! And Much appreciated! 🙂

Thanks for your feedback! I put it together this way so you could print it all at once and not have to count and collate 238 pages. This was my first big planner, so I’m definitely going to make some changes for the next one.

Yes, I’m working on it now. The main issue is licensing for the graphics, but also the number of hours it takes to make the whole thing. I don’t have a ready date, but I’ll be sending it to my email subscribers first! 🙂

Right now my plan is to have it in full on the blog sometime this fall. I’m sending an abbreviated version out to my subscribers much sooner than that, though. If you sign up for my weekly email, it will come right to your inbox!

I love your 2016 calendar. I just moved into a new office and wanted to spice it up with fun and functional items. Just a note in the 2016 calendar, December only has 30 days on the month page.

Thank you for pointing that out! I’m almost done with the 2017 version and noticed there was one off. That was my biggest fear – typos – so I’m proofreading the next one a zillion times. 🙂
