It’s here! Today I’m releasing my 2018 printable planner. This year I’ve created 4 versions to give you a few options on size and color. My planner is by far the most popular thing on One Mama’s Daily Drama, so I hope you love it as much as I do.
This is the fourth year I’ve made a printable planner. Every year I ask my readers to suggest changes and improvements, and since I use the planner daily myself, I try to find ways to make it even more useful.
The 2018 printable planner is no exception and while I can’t create the perfect planner for everyone’s individual needs, I’ve taken a lot of your suggestions. This year you’ll find bigger calendar pages, vertical weekly planning – and both Sunday start and Monday start options for the weekly page spread.
Printable planner pricing
I always feel a bit conflicted when pricing my planner. On the one hand, it usually takes me a long time to create it. I’m not sure how many hours, but maybe in the 30-40 range. I know it’s as valuable as the ones you might find in a store for $20+.
I also know that many of my readers are on a budget, just like I am, and don’t want to spend a penny more than necessary. And I sympathize with you because I started making my own planner because I couldn’t afford to purchase one that had everything I needed. There are tons of free printable planners available from other bloggers, so I know that if you choose to use mine, it’s because you really love it.
So this year I came up with an idea that’s a balance of both.
For the first week it’s available {August 18-24, 2017} the price is “pay what you want.”
Just click on the shop link for the version you want and add it to your cart. The price is $0+, meaning you can get for free if you need to or add a few dollars to help support the blog.
After that, the price will go up.
August 25-31, 2017 the price will be 50% off – $2.99.
Starting September 1, 2017, the planner will be full price at $5.99.
The undated planner that I created last year is also still currently available for $5.99.

A few quick notes before I show you the planners.
- If you’ve never shopped through Gumroad before, it’s a simple, secure checkout option that doesn’t allow me to see your payment info.
- I ask for your zip code because I have to pay sales tax if you live in Texas. It won’t change the cost of your planner, but it will keep me out of legal trouble.
- Once you purchase, you will get an email with a link to download, so if you don’t want to download right away, you can come back to it.

When I printed the 5.5 by 8.5 it fills an 8.5 by 11 page. Is it a user error (me)?
Kelly says
I figured it out, duh!
Keri says
I’m glad you figured it out! I’ll update the post to include some printing tips in case anyone else has questions too.
Nancy says
Is there a black and white A5 size?
Keri says
Hi, Nancy! I didn’t create a black and white A5 this year. This is the first year I’ve offered that size, so it’s sort of a test to see if there is interest. I may offer one starting in January.
Nancy says
Ok, thanks!
Susan Fisher says
Yes, please!!! I will wait for it.
Keri says
Thanks, Susan! I hope to have it up in the next week.
Lana Prior says
I tried to buy the color full size, and I can’t figure out how to purchase on the Gumroad website. Very frustrating.
Keri says
Hi Lana. I’m so sorry you’re having trouble! If you’ve never shopped on Gumroad before, it can be a bit different from other sites (like Etsy or Amazon). After you click the link to the product, type in the price you want to pay. The minimum is there but ghosted. Then click on “I want this” and enter your payment info. I need your zip code so I can pay sales tax if you’re in Texas, but it doesn’t change your price.
Let me know if you have other questions or it still isn’t working for you.
Lana Prior says
Thank you! It worked for me this time! I don’t know what was happening last time, but it worked this time. Thank you so much!
Keri says
You’re welcome! Possibly Gumroad was updating. The site has been pretty busy lately, so I have seen them update randomly.
If you enjoy the planner, I’ve got lots of matching free printables here on the blog too.
ana maria says

Keri says
I’m so glad my printables are helpful for you!

I tried to order your comment but for some reason the version of paypal you use requires that I put in a credit card number to check out. (I do not use checking accounts or credit cards.) 🙁 I thought this was something you might like to know. (I checked my paypal balance just to make sure it wasn’t an error, but alas, my balance is well over the amount requested and yet it still requests a credit card.) – LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog tho! Keep it up! I’ll be back to check out more here soon.
Keri says
Hi Jules. I don’t use PayPal – that’s a new option that Gumroad just added. I went and tested it, and it looks like you have to have a bank account associated with your PayPal account. I don’t know enough about PayPal to offer any advice, but you might reach out to Gumroad customer service. I’ll do that too.
Janika says
Hi! Would you be having the “monthly” A4-sized pages anymore? I mean the ones that have the month stated on top (“January”) and then the calendar for that month is under it. Previously I’ve only needed to print those 12 pages from your calendar and sticked them on a monthly basis on my fridge. Now I didn’t see them in the preview picture of the 2018 calendar and thus I hesitate to purchase.
Janika says
Hi again, I’m talking about these (the first pic); https://onemamasdailydrama.com/2017-printable-planner/
Keri says
Hi, Janika! I do have monthly pages in each of my 2018 planners (including the new A5), but they’re across 2 pages instead of just 1. Many readers said they needed more space to write, so spreading the months across 2 pages allows each square to be bigger. In the preview pictures, it has the month in the top left corner of the calendar. If you prefer a 1-page month, I have an undated set of monthly pages in the shop here: https://gumroad.com/l/ndDzO
Tina says
If I purchase the 8 x 11 how will I be able to use it for my 5 1/2 x 8 1/2? Do I need certain paper?
Keri says
On my printer, I have the option to print 2 pages per page. The settings will depend on your computer, but then you can cut the pages in half.
If you print the 8.5×11 pages two per page, there will be more white space on the top and bottom as it is scaled down. I also have an option that’s already 8.5×5.5 without the gaps.
