Spring means that your flowerbeds and neighbor’s homes are bursting with lots of new and colorful blooms or will be soon. This is a great time to learn about those flowers – including their names and some fun facts about them.

Most of the flower facts are about size, shape, or where they grow. I got them from Britannica Kids, which is a great resource for info that’s simplified and age-appropriate.

How to print the flashcards

After you download this printable, you’ll see that there are 4 pages. There are 2 sets of cards, each with a front and back design.

I recommend printing 2 pages at a time, double-sided, on card stock. (Pages 1 and 2 go together, and pages 3 and 4 go together.)

The picture cards and the text cards go in opposite directions, so when you print them back-to-back, the correct text will line up with the flower image.
