Enchant Christmas is a magical holiday experience in Arlington, Texas that includes the world’s largest light maze, a holiday gift market, ice skating and of course, visits with Santa Claus. Take a peek inside what’s new for 2018 and enter to win tickets.
My family and I received complimentary admission on media night to provide this preview.

Enchant Christmas is one of my favorite holiday family activities in DFW. We attended last year and had a wonderful time, so I was excited to hear that this year would be even bigger. Y’all, it does not disappoint!
Here’s a quick overview of the whole thing, plus highlights of what is new for 2018.
Enchant Christmas
This year Enchant Christmas has moved from outside to inside Globe Life Park. The light maze and ice skating rink together fill the entire field. The perimeter of the building includes the holiday gift market, live musical entertainment and the regular ballpark concession stands. There is also a place to visit with Santa Claus for photos and with Mrs. Claus for story time.

Light Maze
This is where we spent most of our time. At the entrance, you get a scratch-off card for a scavenger hunt. This year’s theme is “Eddie the Mischievous Elf” and you find 8 toys hidden throughout the maze. We spent probably an hour and a half walking around the maze finding each display and stopping for lots of photo ops.

Ice Skating
This year the ice skating rink is a short track through a section of the light maze. It is plenty wide enough for newbie skaters like my kids to go slowly around the edge while others skate through the middle. Skate rental is $10.
Tip: It took us a while to find the entrance to the ice skating area. When you leave the light maze, instead of going up the stairs and leaving the field, turn left and walk around the outside of the maze.

Vendors
We found a nice mix of handmade artists, direct sales and other vendors. You can see the full list here.
Food
The ballpark concession stands are located around the outside loop. If you purchase the VIP Experience, not only can you cut to the front of every line, you can also enjoy a gourmet dinner buffet that includes salad, lemon chicken, braised beef short ribs, kid-friendly fare like hot dogs, and drinks and desserts.
If you go
Enchant Christmas is open seven days per week, November 23 – December 30, 2018 at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.
Tickets can be purchased online starting at $19.99. There are season passes, discount dates, and even dates you can bring your dog! {You’ll also need to pay for parking.} When you purchase your tickets, you’ll pick an entry time. This is so that they can limit the number of people coming in at one time and keep the lines from getting crazy.

Giveaway
Enchant Christmas is letting me host a giveaway for One Mama’s Daily Drama readers!
One person will win a family 4-pack of tickets that are good for any combination of adults and kids ages 4-13. {Kids 3 and under are free.} They will only be valid November 27 – December 16 and December 26-30 excluding Saturdays and Nov 28/Dec 27. After I pick a winner, I’ll contact you to choose the date/time of your visit. Make sure you are available to visit the Arlington, TX location on a date during that time period.
