One of the easiest ways to make your child’s school supplies fun and unique is personalization. The Minted Back to School Shop has tons of cute items that can be personalized for your child and make great teacher gifts too. See which personalized school supplies I think are the cutest and find out how you can enter to win a credit for your own shopping spree.

It’s easy for back-to-school shopping to get stressful. The list is long and probably includes a few things that are hard to find. {Folders with brads and pockets, I’m looking at you.}

Plus, there’s uniforms and backpacks and lunch boxes.

Not to mention, by Halloween your kids will have lost half of their stuff. Possibly because it looks like everyone else’s.

My kids are starting fifth and seventh grade this year. After almost a decade of navy polos and very specific composition books, I’ve learned one thing. Personalized school supplies are essential!

8 cute personalized school supplies from Minted

1. Clothing labels

These pretty clothing labels make it easy to tell your kids’ clothes apart when they come out of the laundry or if your child leaves her sweater on the playground. Include your child’s name and contact info. They’re washable, durable, and can be customized with color and size.

2. Lunch labels

I love the reusable tubs that I use to pack my kids’ lunches every day. So do a lot of parents, because I see them everywhere. Fortunately, mine are labeled with our last name so they never disappear from the cafeteria. If your child has an allergy, that’s handy info to keep on their lunch box label!

3. Spirals and notebooks

Choose a plain lined journal, address book, or planner. Teens are not the most organized bunch. This would be a fun way to encourage your middle or high school student to keep track of his or her schedule.

4. Kids’ stationery

This might not be on your supply list, but let me tell you a story. My son is a reluctant writer. All last year, he struggled with handwriting and rushed through his homework. Over the summer, his teacher wrote him a letter and they became pen pals. Sometimes it just needs to be fun. Write on personal stationery to grandparents, cousins, or even just back and forth between parent and child.

5. Back to school invitations

Hosting a back-to-school bash? Minted has digital invitations to personalize for your party and send them to friends and family online. Right now {and for a limited time} they’re still beta testing them, so it’s free!

6. Teacher spirals and notebooks

Minted has the same options for adult notebooks with tons of cute and classy designs. Choose blank lines or a planner format. Personalize the front with your child’s school and teacher’s name for a gift they’ll love.

7. Kids’ room decor

At the end of summer, I always feel like we need to do some decluttering. With kids back in school, now is the perfect time for redecorating. You can easily update a room from little kid to big kid just by swapping out the wall art. Wouldn’t it be super cute to create a “my favorite things” poster for your child at the beginning of each school year?

8. Little Artist Shelf

Okay, this one is almost 100% for parents. The Little Artist Shelf is a pretty wooden shelf that hangs on any wall in your house. Beneath the shelf is a wire and clips for hanging up your child’s artwork. Amazing, right?

No matter whether you’re sending them off to preschool or college, there’s a way to personalize their supplies. Shop by grade to see what else Minted has for back-to-school time.
