We had a busy weekend, celebrating Hubby’s birthday. We took him out to lunch at a local place – Cattlemen’s Steakhouse – located in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Its funny, but even though I’ve lived here my whole life, I’ve never been down there before. Everyone had fun being “tourists” for a day.
Last week’s menu didn’t really go as planned. The grocery store was out of one ingredient in almost every recipe. We improvised quite a bit, so you’ll notice a few repeats.
Here’s what we’re eating this week:
Monday – pineapple chicken fried rice
Tuesday – tacos
Wednesday – Bertolli frozen soup with Alexia frozen rolls
Thursday – ribs, potatoes, and corn on the cob
Friday – dinner with family
Saturday – red beans and rice
