Drama of the week
If you read my meal plan post every week, you might notice that we’ve been eating chicken a lot more lately. For some reason, I just can’t come up with many good summer recipes that use ground beef, except for tacos and burgers. While I could probably eat tacos every day…
I would love to see your ideas for summer recipes that include ground beef. What do you cook when it’s 90-100 degrees outside?
Here’s what we’re eating this week:
Monday – tuna alfredo with broccoli
We didn’t get to this one last week.
Tuesday – pasta primavera
This is an easy recipe that uses a lot of seasonal produce.
Wednesday – chicken zucchini tortellini pesto
This is so good that I’ve made it three times and still haven’t gotten photos before we ate it all.
Thursday – chicken stir-fry
An easy favorite with carrots and green onions.
Friday – bacon apple salad, garlic bread
I got white cheddar instead of the feta this time.
Saturday – grilled steaks, salad
Salad at the end of the week is the perfect way to clean out the refrigerator.
Sunday – TBD
