Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing my weekly meal plan for my family. It includes what I plan to make for supper every night for the week ahead. I don’t always stick to it 100 percent, but most weeks I’m pretty close. If you’re looking for practical inspiration on what to cook, read on.
Drama of the week
Last week, I mentioned that I might quit sharing my weekly meal plan. I mean, it gets kind of repetitive and I wasn’t even sure if it was helping anyone. Readers commented on the post and elsewhere to let me know that I was being helpful and they want me to keep it up, so that’s what I’ll do.
Sometimes all it takes is a few kind words to make a person feel good. I always try to be nice to others because you never know what’s going on in their life. This week I’m going to make a point of saying thank you to the people I appreciate and I encourage you to do that too.
Here’s what we’re eating this week:
Monday – burritos
taco meat, beans, and shredded cheese wrapped up in a tortilla
Tuesday – chicken salad sandwiches
I enjoy chicken salad but have never made it at home for some reason.
Wednesday – spaghetti and meatballs, salad
Instead of simmering them in sauce, I always bake mine in the oven and serve them without.
Thursday – pizza
Friday – hummus veggie wraps, probably potato chips
This time, I’m going to add deli turkey for a not-meatless meal.
Saturday – sausage tin foil dinners, corn bread muffins
A new recipe from my friend Kathleen at Fearlessly Creative Mammas.
Sunday – takeout
Cheers! Linking up at Menu Plan Monday.
